Bagnara Calabra (or simply Bagnara, Greek: Keramida) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Reggio Calabria in the Italian region Calabria, located about 100 km southwest of Catanzaro and about 25 km northeast of Reggio Calabria.
The municipality of Bagnara Calabra contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Ceramida, Solano, and Pellegrina.
Bagnara Calabra borders the following municipalities: Melicuccà, Sant'Eufemia d'Aspromonte, Scilla, Seminara.
Bagnara is known for its torrone, the typical delicacy of the village, and also for its swordfish. The Bagnara inhabitants have lived for centuries off fishing and agriculture. It was very famous for its fields for the sericulture. Then, all the terraces were converted in fields for wine grapes cultivation.
Since few years the village was converted in a tourists attraction for many of these that come for summer holiday.
